Cape Breton Highlands preserves the northern highlands of Cape Breton Island β€” dramatic coastal cliffs dropping into the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Atlantic. The Cabot Trail, a 298km coastal highway, is consistently rated one of the most scenic drives in the world. The park is also home to moose, bald eagles, and traditional Cape Breton fiddle culture.
